RESEARCH HONORS AND AWARDS
• Micro mixing by electroosmotic flow in microchannels with surface charge patterning(Paper a.5: J. Micromech. Microeng. 14(2), 247–255, 2004) was reported by MIT Technology Review magazine on 17 May 2004 (http://www.techreview.com).
• The ultra-high-aspect-ratio submicron pillar array fabricated without e-beam lithography (Paper a.18: J. Micromech. Microeng. 16(4), 699–707, 2006) was reported by the leading DRIE company, STS’s Innovations Newsletter, July 2006(http://www.stsystems.com).
• The refereed conference paper entitled "Nonlinear Transmembrane Current
Response of Micro Electroporation for Human Cancer Cells," by H. He, D.C. Chang
and Y.K. Lee, was selected as one of the 10 finalist for Best Paper Award in IEEE
